TITLE
Genuine Multi-Entropy: From Black Holes to Topological Order
ABSTRACT
Multipartite entanglement is expected to play an important role in many-body quantum systems, quantum gravity, and topological phases, yet a general and physically useful diagnostic has remained elusive. In this talk, I will introduce genuine multi-entropy (GM), a new probe of genuine multipartite entanglement obtained from multi-entropies. After explaining the basic idea and its main properties, I will review recent applications of GM to black holes and holography, including black hole multi-entropy curves, a multipartite generalization of the Page curve, holographic multipartite entanglement, and junction laws. If time permits, I will also discuss recent developments in spin systems and topological phases, including the toric code, illustrating that GM provides a common framework for studying multipartite entanglement across diverse areas of physics.
