David Tong is a theoretical physicist at the University of Cambridge. He works on quantum field theory. This is a vast topic that touches upon many different parts of physics and mathematics. Over the years, David has studied aspects of quantum field theory related to string theory, supersymmetry, solitons, geometry, cosmology and condensed matter. He is also known among students for his lecture notes on different topics in theoretical physics.
