A Lightcone Formalism for Bulk Lightcones in de Sitter
ABSTRACT
Lightcone-gauges depend on a foliation of space-time into null-hyperplanes, which are lightcones of points at the asymptotic boundary of space-time. We show that in de Sitter space, one can instead define a lightcone-gauge which foliates spacetime into lightcones of bulk-points. Such bulk lightcones provide us with an increased freedom in the description of the lightcone-theory, and in the case of self-dual theories or MHV computations, do not lead to additional complications compared to boundary lightcones. We use this freedom to establish a relationship between different lightcone-gauges. We then apply this formalism to compute scattering amplitudes in the dS static-patch for a higher spin extensions of self-dual Yang-Mills and self-dual GR.
