- Anomaly matching for generalized symmetries
- ABSTRACT
- 't Hooft anomaly matching is a powerful tool for constraining the IR dynamics of quantum systems. In this talk, we develop categorical language and Symmetry Topological Field theory (SymTFT) approach to describe the UV-IR anomaly matching condition. This perspective provides a useful framework for analyzing anomalous 0-form and higher-form symmetries, as well as non-invertible (categorical) symmetries.
